Here is a good article about webstandards and the importance of it. I remember starting out with the good old table designs back in the days, but have made the switch to producing sites without them that validate and so on.. In the effort of trying to make a site validate perfectly I feel im wasting time in fixing code that i know will have no negative effect on the visitor or the compatibility on different browsers. I just spend extra time fixing it for the sake of getting that 100% validaion..
